Mr. Damodar Sarda, a true entrepreneur and visionary, has dedicated himself to the plastic industry for more than 2 decades (20 years). He initially started producing reprocessing granules by buying scrap from woven sack manufacturers. Parallel to it, he also started manufacturing Nylon Ropes by the acquisition of an existing company. Diversification took him into polythene bags and liners in a couple of years.
We saw a strong opportunity in the plastics industry early on. That’s when our growth journey truly began.
We acquired Simplex Chemopack Pvt. Ltd. to manufacture woven sacks. Soon after, we expanded further by acquiring Shree Gajanand Plastics Pvt. Ltd. for PET bottles and jars. These steps helped us build a strong foundation in packaging.
From day one, we believed in working with the latest technology. We regularly upgrade our plants and machinery. This keeps our operations aligned with global standards and market demands.
As we grew, we moved into flexible packaging. This expansion came through Gaurav Multilayers Pvt. Ltd.. Today, we manufacture high-quality PVC shrink sleeves and labels. We are also preparing to enter laminated packaging soon.
Over the years, our efforts have paid off. The Simplex Group now produces three times more than when we started. We have built a stable position in the market and continue to aim higher.
